Why do I choose to spray tan with an HVLP Spray Gun

Some of you may wonder why some people choose an Airbrush and some choose to spray tan with an HVLP spray gun.  Let me explain why I chose the HVLP spray gun.

When I first decided to do Airbrush Tanning I was very confused because there are so many options available.  I spoke to the spray tan woman who tanned me in Las Vegas and she used an actual Airbrush – this was her preference and she said it was very easy.  So here is the difference that I found out and why I chose the HVLP Spray Gun:

With the Airbrush it usually takes 30 minutes to spray tan a full body and with an HVLP spray gun it only takes 10 minutes. I wanted to do high volume so I could earn a good living from this business, so I decided to buy an HVLP spray gun.  When you spray with the Airbrush, the customer is still very wet and sticky once you finish spraying them so they have to stand in front of a fan for an additional 5-10 minutes.  So all together 1 customer is with you for 45 min- to 1 hour and during that time you can not take on another customer.  This would limit your earnings potential.

If you have an HVLP spray gun, you can actually spray tan 3-4 people within 1 hour. And the best thing for the customer is that they are dry immediately because of the high pressured air that comes out when you spray them with the HVLP spray gun.  I also wanted to work in a fashion show setting or on Tv sets in Hollywwod and everything has to be done quick in those environments.

Hopefully this will give you a good explanation of why I chose to use an HVLP spray gun to spray tan people.
